normal grade
मूल श्रुति, n. (wrt Indo-European, also : strong grade, cf : ablaut, grade) मूल श्रुति (स्त्री.). Note :–While Skt.grammarians consider the reduced grade to be ‘normal’ (with full being संप्रसारण or गुण and lengthened being वृद्धि), modern Indo-Europeanists consider the full grade to be normal and others to be departures, from it.
